Hello darlings,<\/p>\n

We\u2019re settling into maritime life nicely.\u00a0 Today breakfast was served in the mess room between 7 and 8, just splendid.\u00a0 This was followed by a jolly game of charades on the deck and a stroll around the ship to take in the beautiful scenery and sunshine.\u00a0 At 10 o\u2019clock we took tea and cake with the captain, it was most enjoyable.\u00a0 I spent the morning having a gorgeous massage and facial (one has to look one\u2019s best) while Steve decided to partake in a game of Boule.\u00a0 A quick dip in the pool was next on the agenda, before changing into smart\/casual attire for lunch.\u00a0 The food here really is exquisite. Cocktails on deck were the next highlight of the day, delightful, I do love a strawberry daiquiri.\u00a0 Then time for a snooze on my favourite sun lounger to top up that tan.\u00a0 Dinner is served at 7, so just enough time to change into my evening frock and make myself look pretty. Its casino night tonight which will be devine, I plan to win big.\u00a0 I\u2019m putting \u00a383,000 on black.\u00a0 Wish me luck!<\/p>\n

Obviously none of that really happened, but we did have tea with the Captain and Super. They\u2019re really interested in the expedition and wanted to see some FTFE videos of Mongolia.\u00a0 We spent the afternoon running laps of the ship in the rain and playing table tennis, which can be quite tricky when the boat is rocking.\u00a0 The crew are great and we\u2019re eating better than we do on the road:<\/p>\n

Breakfast \u2013 scrambled eggs, corned beef and an apple<\/p>\n

Lunch \u2013 rice, vegetables and fried tuna followed by pineapple rings<\/p>\n

Dinner \u2013 rice, vegetables, pork knuckle and tandoori chicken followed by pears in syrup<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We\u2019re only three days in but I\u2019m excited that after a week on board we\u2019ll be classed as \u2018sea dogs\u2019.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know about you, but when I think \u2018sea dog\u2019 I think of Uncle Albert from Only Fools and Horses.\u00a0 Not someone I\u2019ve ever really aspired to but hey, if the cap fits I\u2019ll wear it.<\/p>\n
