Bloomsbury Bowl is a great place to go bowling and has an awesome vibe. So it was a match made in heaven when they generously agreed to offer us their King Pin suite to help us raise money for our 3 charities.
I never thought I would hear myself say this but I am contemplating running a marathon again! The London Marathon last week gave me such a buzz and sense of achievement that the thought of doing it all over again is actually quite exciting!
Well it was slightly overcast which was a nice surprise, with a small shower just before the start but still a pretty humid day. Dave and I wished each other the best and we set of to our start zones.
I am not entirely sure how I agreed to do this. It may have been in a pub or to break an uncomfortable silence, but somehow I agreed to run this marathon with full fireman uniform, if it could be found. It was on behalf of my work colleague Amy who is taking part in a round the world drive in a fire engine to raise money for 3 great causes.
